The Biancocelesti continued their march on the Champions League places with a 4-0 demolition of Sampdoria.

“The lads did so well and it wasn’t easy, as Samp have some excellent players,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium.

“We had the right attitude from the start, despite losing Marco Parolo so early to injury. Felipe Anderson did very well and I am very happy with Luis Nani, as he helped the team and provided an assist in those 10 minutes.

“Now there are four tough games ahead, we have won two very important fixtures against Fiorentina and Sampdoria, but now must focus on Torino.

“We’re not in the top four as a fluke, we earned this opportunity on the field. Roma and Inter are also going strong, but we’ll fight to the end and hope to leave one of them behind us.

“We’ll give our heart and soul to make it.”

Ciro Immobile bagged another brace, taking his Serie A tally to 29 goals and consolidating his Capocannoniere status.

“Immobile is our leader and is also fortunate in turn to have a team that supports him so well.”

Inzaghi was asked about his own future after reports linking him with the Juventus job, should Max Allegri move on.

“I am happy here, I’m very proud, have a contract for another two years and want to stay here for a long time yet.”
