“Our objective was to get into Europe, then as time wore on we were still right up there, so our ambitions changed slightly,” Tare told Mediaset Premium.
“At this moment, we want to achieve this objective we have been targeting for years. If we get into it, then we can plan for the future.”
They had been on the verge of a place in the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday, but conceded three goals in four minutes to capitulate with RB Salzburg.
“I don’t know if this is the right game to follow that, but the best medicine is to get back to winning ways, because we have to react.
“We must play with heart, a victory is fundamental for our position in the table.”
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is one of the Aquile star players who has been stuttering of late.
“He has a certain physicality and after an injury he needs more time to get back into shape, but he’s on the right track.”
