Nice forward Mario Balotelli has been informed he’ll be in the Italy squad to take on England and Argentina in friendlies, it’s reported.
According to Nice-Matin newspaper, the striker has received a pre-selection notice.
Italy are currently without a Coach, as Giampiero Ventura was sacked following their failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
Azzurri Under-21 international Gigi Di Biagio has been put in charge on an interim basis for the upcoming friendlies.
Balotelli has not played for his country since the 2014 World Cup, despite finding great form at Nice with 22 goals in 30 competitive games this season.
