Cagliari have officially signed Greek left-back Charalampos Lykogiannis from Sturm Graz on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Lykogiannis arrives after helping Sturm Graz to the top of the Austrian League, above the likes of Red Bull Salzburg and Austria Vienna – Milan’s opponents in the Europa League group stage.
The 24-year-old is expected to have joined Cagliari for a small fee, given his contract was due to expire at the end of the season.
