Hellas Verona have named their Scudetto hero Coach Osvaldo Bagnoli as Honorary President of the club.
Verona caused one of the biggest upsets in Serie A history when taking the title in 1984-85.
Bagnoli was on the bench at the time and he was given another special place in the club’s history today.
He has been named Honorary President of Hellas Verona, presented with the certificate by current President Maurizio Setti.

“I am proud and honoured to be given this role. It’s wonderful to know the memory of what we did is still alive so many years later,” said Bagnoli.
Now 82 years old, Bagnoli also worked at Como, Rimini, Fano, Cesena, Genoa and Inter.
He had 278 games on the Hellas Verona bench from 1981 to 1990.
