Khouma Babacar seems intent on leaving Fiorentina, but Roma or Sassuolo seem more likely than Crystal Palace or Everton, as he could replace Edin Dzeko.

The Senegal international striker has found the net five times with two assists this season in only 17 appearances, most of them as a substitute.

He will struggle to get past Giovanni Simeone in the pecking order, so is eager for a move away from Florence in the January transfer window.

According to La Nazione newspaper, Babacar seems intent on staying in Italy rather than accepting the offers from Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Everton.

Sassuolo are the most likely option for now, but if Roma do sell Dzeko to Chelsea in a double €60m deal with Emerson Palmieri, then the 24-year-old may well fit the bill as a replacement.
