As expected, Montreal Impact have confirmed the arrival of midfielder Saphir Taider from Bologna after Blerim Dzemaili went the other way.
The two clubs are run by Joey Saputo, so regularly exchange players on loan.
“It’s basically done, we have to wait for the documentation from the League, but Taider is essentially our player to all effects,” technical director Adam Braz told the official MLS club’s website.

Taider turns 26 next month and has spent most of his career in Italy, first joining Bologna from Grenoble in 2011.
He also played for Inter, Sassuolo and very briefly Southampton.
So far this season, Taider had 10 competitive appearances in the Rossoblu jersey.
