Inter hope to conclude negotiations for Rafinha tomorrow, as the only sticking point now is convincing Barcelona to include an option to buy.

According to both Sky Sport Italia and Mediaset Premium, director Piero Ausilio will remain in Catalunya overnight to carry on the talks.

The midfielder is eager to make the move to San Siro, where he’ll get playing time as he recovers from a lengthy injury lay-off, as his last game was in April 2017.

The midfielder is eager to make the move to San Siro, where he’ll get playing time as he recovers from a lengthy injury lay-off, as his last game was in April 2017.

The main issue now is that Barcelona want this to be a dry loan only, whereas Inter are determined to include an option to buy at the end of the season.

They also differ over the cost of the option, as the Blaugrana value Rafinha at €30m and the Nerazzurri see it as €25m.
