There is an increasingly crowded field for the FIGC Presidency with Damiano Tommasi, Cosimo Sibilia and Gabriele Gravina as candidates.
The role was left empty when President Carlo Tavecchio resigned in the wake of Italy’s failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
Players’ Association President Tommasi was the first to throw his hat into the ring.
Lega Nazionale Dilettanti (LND) President Sibilia followed and now Lega Pro chief Gravina has put himself forward after today’s meeting in Florence.

“I sent my platform to everyone at the meeting and the reference point will be the one the Lega Pro presents in its meeting tomorrow, so I hope to be a candidate for the President of the Federation,” Gravina told TMW Radio.
“When there are different candidates, the Lega Pro can’t pull out of the electoral situation. My project is in the interests of the whole system and not just the Lega Pro.
“For the first time since I’ve been in football, there is an actual debate over the Federation President.”
