Sime Vrsaljko is expected to be out for around 10 days, as Inter confirm he suffered a thigh strain on international duty.

The full-back had to be substituted after 27 minutes of the Nations League match between England and Croatia, and was sent for tests today.

“Sime Vrsaljko was subjected this afternoon to an MRI scan at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas in Rozzano,” the Nerazzurri confirmed on their official website.

The full-back had to be substituted after 27 minutes of the Nations League match between England and Croatia, and was sent for tests today.

“The examinations showed a strain to the biceps femoris of the right thigh. The condition of the Croatian will be evaluated in the coming days.”

The injury is likely to keep Vrsaljko out for around 10 days, so he’ll miss the Frosinone game at the weekend.

Inter hope to have him back for the Champions League trip to Tottenham Hotspur, or failing that the Roma game on December 2.
