Roberto Donadoni believes Jose Mauri has ‘all the qualities to do well’, after moving to Milan.
Donadoni is a Rossoneri legend, and was the midfielder’s Coach at Parma last season, before the Ducali’s bankruptcy allowed the youngster to move to San Siro on a free transfer.
“The fact that Milan are focusing on young players like Jose is a good policy,” Donadoni told MilanNews.
“The club is trying to rejuvenate the squad, so I think it’s good and intelligent.

“I think he has different attributes to [Gennaro] Gattuso [to whom Mauri compared himself]. He has all the qualities to do well, but he has to be aware that there’s a long way to go, and this is just a starting point.
“If he has that attitude, which he showed this year at Parma, I think he can become an important player.”
