Vice-President Javier Zanetti says Inter are “happy with what we’re doing” but “there’s a long way to go”.
The Nerazzurri are top of Serie A with a perfect record of four wins from four, but the former full-back is not getting carried away.
“I think it’s a long season, and we’re only at the beginning,” Zanetti cautioned in an interview with RTL.

The Nerazzurri are top of Serie A with a perfect record of four wins from four, but the former full-back is not getting carried away.
“I think it’s a long season, and we’re only at the beginning,” Zanetti cautioned in an interview with RTL.
“We know there’s still a long way to go, but we’re happy with what we’re doing. We have to look at ourselves, always looking to improve even though we know there will be difficult moments, and we’ll have to be ready to overcome them.
“However, I think there’s the ability to return to being contenders, and we hope to make it to the end.”
Director general Marco Fassone left the club at the end of last week, but Zanetti insists he’s not looking to step into the vacant role.
“It was a choice by the club. The only thing that matters now is to keep working and doing well for Inter.
“I’m already vice-President, I’m delighted to have this great opportunity to be able to support the different sectors which make up our club.
“We’re a group of managers who try to do the best we can for the future of Inter.”
