Felipe Anderson believes that Lazio will ‘have a great season’ with Stefano Pioli leading the way.
The Coach joined this summer from Bologna, and the Brazil Under-20 international has insisted that the capital club can challenge this time around.
“I feel great. I’m picking up the pace and getting used to Italian football,” he told Corriere dello Sport.
“With Pioli I am learning a lot. I believe we can have a great season.”
The attacker then revealed how Neymar advised him on a move to Europe last summer.
“At the same time that I was joining Lazio he was going to Barcelona. We talked a lot.
“He told me that I should join a team with some Brazilians to help me with the European mentality.
“He had Dani Alves, and I have a few of the lads to help me. They have been brilliant.”
The youngster went on to remark on the Biancocelesti’s goals for the upcoming campaign.
“We want to get as high as possible in the table and reach Europe. We have to stick together. I believe we can do it.
“The derby? Of course I’m thinking about it!”
