Eric Cantona has praised the job done by compatriot Rudi Garcia at Roma and also says he would take Francesco Totti to the World Cup.
The Giallorossi are second in Serie A and have won many plaudits this season and the form of the veteran forward has been key to this.
“I follow the Italian league,” Cantona said to Sky Sport. “Juventus are doing well but so are Roma.
“Garcia and his players really are performing very well.
“Francesco Totti is a leader and as well as scoring he provides a lot of assists for the team.
“I am not the national team Coach and I can’t decide, but if he is at his best when the time comes I would take him to the World Cup.
“We still need to see whether there are also younger players who deserve to go.”
