Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani hinted Zdenek Zeman could return to the club. “Never say never...”
Zeman won the Serie B championship with Pescara in 2011-12, securing their promotion to the top flight, but left that summer in order to take over at Roma.
He was sacked in February 2013 and has been out of work ever since, but periodically visited the Pescara training ground.
It’s reported this weekend Zeman met with Sebastiani at the Stadio Olimpico when watching the Rome Derby and discussed the possibility of a return.
“Never say never...” smiled Sebastiani when asked about the rumour.
“As of today we have a Coach, Pasquale Marino, who we have blind faith in. We have the utmost confidence in him and desire to reach the objectives we set over the summer.
“I am certain Pescara will be able to step up straight away.”
Pescara are struggling lately with four consecutive defeats.
