The agent of Cagliari striker Mauricio Pinilla has conceded that he is ‘pleased’ with rumours suggesting his client could sign for Inter.
Reports in several Italian outlets in recent weeks have claimed that the 29-year-old could a target for the Nerazzurri.
And the forward’s representative has admitted his pride in reading such stories.
“These are stories that please us, no doubt,” Francesco Caliandro told Calcio News.
“The fact that a club as important as the Nerazzurri are said to be expressing an interest in Mauricio is a source of pride.
“There hasn’t been any contact at the moment. Mauricio is just focused on Cagliari and the Chilean national team.
“His goal is to try and help Cagliari stay in Serie A.”
