There are reports Inter striker Mauro Icardi requires surgery to correct an on-going hernia problem.
The Argentine is out of today’s trip to Udinese and so far regular therapy has proved unsuccessful in solving the issue.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri medical staff decided to book Icardi in for surgery.
It is hoped this will resolve the problem once and for all, though leaves the team short-staffed in attack.
Diego Milito is still out of action and Ishak Belfodil is suspended.
