Massimo Moratti has confirmed that he has reached an agreement for Erick Thohir to take a majority shareholding in Inter.
Reports on Tuesday morning  were that the pair were close to signing off on the agreement and now the Italian oil tycoon as confirmed as much to reporters outside his offices in Saras, Milan.
“Everything has been signed, in a few hours there will be a Press release,” Moratti commented today.
“Satisfied? Yes, this has been a long time, but eventually we have gotten there, everything seems to be in balance.
“On the role of President, that does not have to be decided yet, but it will depend only on me. There is all the love, but also the relief of leaving the club to respectable people in terms of their character.
“Now I will try to adapt to a new rhythm.”
Moratti, who has been President and owner of the Nerazzurri since 1995, is believed set to sign over a majority share of 70 per cent of the club to Indonesian businessman Thohir.
