New Galatasaray Coach Roberto Mancini admits it’s “a happy coincidence” his first game will be against Juventus.
The former Fiorentina, Lazio, Inter and Manchester City boss signed a three-year contract on Monday, taking over from Fatih Terim.
He’s set to make his debut on the bench in tomorrow night’s Champions League match at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.
“It is a happy coincidence to meet the Bianconeri first and it is a great challenge to prepare for this game in just one day,” Mancini told the Corriere dello Sport.
“I am happy with the choice I made, as the atmosphere is different here in Istanbul. It’s a wonderful and intriguing challenge for me at a big club. I am convinced this was the right choice.”
