Wallace has revealed the details behind his loan move from Chelsea to Inter this summer.
The Brazilian youngster could not get a work permit to sign for the Premier League side during the off-season, so was sent on loan to San Siro – the intricacies of which he described to reporters in his home country.
“Chelsea alerted me to the fact that it was not possible to play for them because of my passport,” he told Globo Esporte.
“They wanted to send me to Vitesse Arnheim, but I did not want to go to Holland.
“I spoke with Mourinho and in the end I opted for Inter. I was looking to join a big club.”
