M’Baye Niang is certainly not short on confidence. “I want to become stronger than Mario Balotelli, while Milan are better than Juventus.”
The striker arrived last summer from Caen, but scored only one goal in 24 games for the Rossoneri last season.
“I want to stay at Milan for as long as possible,” declared the 18-year-old French-Senegalese forward in his Press conference.
“I am working for a new season and I will 100 per cent stay here. I want to do better than last term, improving in my finishing too.
“I work because I want to become stronger than Balotelli. He gives me a lot of advice, as do Kevin-Prince Boateng and Philippe Mexes. I can play as a centre-forward or support striker, as long as I get to play.”
The San Siro giants finished third last season, but Niang is setting his sights firmly on the Scudetto.
“Milan are better than Juventus and can fight for the title. Massimiliano Allegri tells me I am young and need to keep working to improve. We have a great rapport.”
