Milan have made no contact with Bologna regarding a possible bid for Italian international Alessandro Diamanti.
“They are just rumours for now,” Milan official Ariedo Braida told the Corriere della Sera. “I have nothing more to say on the matter.”
The Diavolo are looking for another Trequartista because they will return to the 4-3-1-2 system next season.
Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani recently admitted an interest in the former West Ham man given his form at Bologna.
Diamanti, 30, has also been paired with Inter and Juventus in recent months.
