Fiorentina are set to sign Anderlecht forward Oleksandr Yakovenko, the Belgian club's director of sport has confirmed.
With reports that Adem Ljajic and Stevan Jovetic could be on their way out of Stadio Artemio Franchi, Vincenzo Montella's side seem to have acted swiftly by snapping up the 25-year-old Ukrainian.
“No, I do not regret the departure of Yakovenko,” Herman Van Holsbeeck told Het Laatste Nieuws.
“If a player gets an offer from top level club, you have to leave.”
It is reported that the Viola are to sign the striker on a free transfer, but nothing has been confirmed by the Tuscan club at this time.
