Ricky Alvarez will not be leaving Italian giants Inter for Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.
The Argentine has been strongly linked with the Spanish outfit, but his representative doubts such a move will happen.
“I really don’t believe that Alvarez will sign for Atletico,” Marcelo Simonian is quoted as saying in the Spanish media.
Alvarez has had a problematic second campaign at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, one affected by injuries and poor form.
The 24-year-old has one goal in 14 League games, although he only started four of those matches from the first minute.
The South American has also only played in two Europa League matches this term. Inter face Spurs in the competition tonight.
