Chievo boss Eugenio Corini has stressed the importance of getting a positive result against Sampdoria on Sunday.
The Flying Donkeys travel to the Marassi to face the Bluerchaiti this weekend, looking for the three points which could take them 11 points clear of the relegation zone.
And the 42-year-old has claimed that it is vital to do well against Delio Rossi's team.
“Samp have some very good players and a charismatic Coach who has done really well since he joined,” Corini told a Press conference.
“They have a great defence and a talented player in Mauro Icardi up front.
“We are on an important journey. Our ranking in the table is not too bad, but there are still a lot of points to play for.
“Other teams around us are picking up points, so it's really important for us to come away from the match with a positive result.”
