Milan have lost Kevin Constant for tomorrow’s trip to Cagliari after he sprained his ankle during training.
The defender had originally been named in Massimiliano Allegri’s squad, but a statement on the club website confirmed Constant had pulled out.
This is because he suffered a sprain to the left tibia with vast bruising between the muscles. The player will be evaluated over the next few days.
It is a blow for the Rossoneri, who are already without Daniele Bonera, Giampaolo Pazzini, Nigel De Jong and the suspended Riccardo Montolivo.
Revised Milan squad for Cagliari: Abbiati, Amelia, Gabriel, Abate, Antonini, De Sciglio, Mexes, Yepes, Zaccardo, Zapata, Ambrosini, Boateng, Flamini, Muntari, Nocerino, Traoré, Balotelli, Bojan, El Shaarawy, Niang, Robinho
