Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri could replace Andrea Stramaccioni at Inter next season, according to reports in the Italian Press.
Sport Mediaset have revealed that the 37-year-old's position at San Siro has become virtually untenable after their 3-1 loss to Siena on Sunday.
And it seems that President Massimo Moratti will look to bring in the Partenopei tactician at the end of the season, with his contract at San Paolo due to run out in June.
Other names in contention are Lazio's Vladimir Petkovic, Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone and Jose Mourinho.
But the website believe that Mazzarri is in pole-position for the job.
