Fiorentina’s frosty relationship with Juventus continues, Viola sporting director Daniele Prade has confirmed.
There were rumours that the two clubs had been in discussions about a possible Tuscan switch for Fabio Quagliarella this month.
However, Prade has revealed that the two clubs have yet to settle their differences after Fiorentina felt that Juventus interfered with their failed bid to sign Dmitar Berbatov in the summer.
“Quagliarella? There is no truth in it,” the official told Sky Sport Italia. “We already have five strikers that we firmly believe in.
“The relationship with Juve? Speaking honestly, I’ve not made any contact with them. I’ll continue to go down that road until the club tell me to re-open communications.”
