Hajduk Split have confirmed they are in “very advanced negotiations with Napoli” to sell them teenage midfielder Josip Radosevic.
“We are in very advanced negotiations with Napoli for Radosevic, but have not yet reached a conclusion,” Hajduk President Martin Brbic told Radio Crc.
“The lad wants to play for Napoli and there is not long before we can conclude the deal. There is not a big gap between offer and demand.
“However, there are other clubs who want Radosevic, including Parma.”
The player himself, who won’t turn 19 until April, spoke to Goal.com about this imminent switch to the Stadio San Paolo.
“Playing in Serie A has been my dream since I was a child... and this dream is now close to becoming reality.
“I received offers from other Leagues too, but Serie A is the one that best suits my characteristics.”
Defensive midfielder Radosevic has already played for Croatia at senior level.
