Bologna have made a habit of causing upsets this season and Stefano Pioli warned they will “play our game” against Milan too.
The Rossoblu beat Napoli in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia, then fought back from 2-0 down to push Inter to extra time in Tuesday’s Coppa quarter-final.
“The disappointment at the Coppa result had vanished by Wednesday morning,” insisted the Coach after a 3-2 defeat in the last minute.
“However, we bring with us the performance against Inter and the knowledge we played one of our best games of the season.
“You prepare for Milan with sharpness, concentration and focus, especially as they have been on a positive run.
“A difficult match awaits us, but with the right attitude and more precision, we want to play our game.”
Robert Acquafresca, Henry Gimenez and Cesare Natali are unavailable.
