Cristian Zapata believes he has the ability to become an untouchable figure in the heart of the Milan defence.
The Colombian joined the Diavolo from Villarreal in the summer, but he’s not been assured of regular action.
“I think that my best game for Milan came in the Champions League against Zenit, but I did well against Sampdoria too,” he told Milan Channel after the 0-0 draw at Marassi.
“I need to find the conviction that is needed to become a Milan first-teamer and I believe that I have the qualities to do that.”
Zapata, formerly of Udinese, has appeared in seven League matches so far this term, as well as three in the Champions League.
