Alessandro Sgrigna will discuss his future with Torino officials during the winter break, his agent has confirmed.
The forward’s future is in doubt given that his contract with the newly promoted club is set to expire in June 2013.
“The only certainty right now is that we will meet with Toro after Christmas to discuss the possibility of a renewal,” Luca Urbani said after his client was linked with Catania.
“Catania would be an acceptable destination, they are an important club and Alessandro would fit well into their team,” he added.
“He’s also been bossed by Rolando Maran in the past and it is normal that the Coach rates him, but there are no concrete negotiations right now.”
The 32-year-old has scored just one goal in nine League appearances so far this season.
