Stefano Colantuono admits Atalanta “made life difficult for ourselves” in their Coppa Italia defeat to Roma.
The Orobici were beaten 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico and the first two goals were down to Andrea Consigli howlers.
“It all became more complicated for us after the goals, then Roma played their game and kept possession. We should’ve done more, but were not determined enough when we had the chance to get back into it.
“It’s a shame that we are out, because we cared about the Coppa Italia and wanted to go far in this competition.”
