Alexandre Pato is just as good as Napoli sensation Edinson Cavani, says Milan teammate Francesco Acerbi.
The two clubs will meet on Saturday night and Acerbi is adamant that the Brazilian has all that is needed to rival the Uruguayan in front of goal.
“Cavani and Pato are the best strikers in the Division,” the centre-back told Milan Channel ahead of the San Paolo clash.
“Cavani deserves all of the praise he is getting when you consider his goals, but he is only human and we can stop him.
“Pato has no reason to be envious of him…”
Cavani scored 23 goals in 35 League games for the Azzurri last season. He has eight in 10 so far this term.
As for Pato, the injury-plagued forward has only scored one Serie A goal since the start of the 2011-12 campaign.
