Milan stopper Daniele Bonera is facing a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the loss to Fiorentina.
The club have today confirmed that the defender suffered a muscle strain to his right thigh in the 3-1 defeat.
Bonera will undergo further scans in two weeks to assess his injury further. It is thought that he could be back in action in 21 days.
The 31-year-old has played in nine Serie A games so far this season.
