Fiorentina director Daniele Prade was delighted with the way his side beat Milan on Sunday. “It was as if we were the Rossoneri…”
While the Italian giants continue to struggle in Serie A, the Viola are proving to be a revelation as they now sit fourth in Serie A – just three points shy of second placed Inter.
“We are really satisfied,” the former Roma official noted. “We played as if we were Milan at the San Siro.
“We are keeping an eye on the League table which looks to be split into two. There is the top five and then there is another competition between the rest.
“We just need to keep our feet on the ground because we like to remain realists.”
Vincenzo Montella’s Fiorentina have won their last four games and will entertain Atalanta next weekend.
