Chievo are adamant that Marco Andreolli will remain at the club for the rest of the season – rather than join Inter in January.
The Nerazzurri have been linked with a swoop for their former player, but the ex-Italian Under-21 international is seemingly going nowhere.
“I’m continuing to hear the rumours and the whispers, but I have never heard from Inter,” sporting director Giovanni Sartori told TMW.
“The player will, nevertheless, stay with us in January.
“It is true that the two Presidents of Chievo and Inter know each other well, they have an excellent relationship and speak often, but they have never discussed Andreolli.”
The centre-back, 26, has made four League appearances this season and he’s only contracted at the Bentegodi until June 2013.
