Gigi Del Neri has blamed the referee again after Sampdoria's defeat in Sardinia sent them down to fifth place.
“The fact remains we have played six games away from home and in half of them had a man sent off,” moaned the Coach.
“We are not a nasty team and never thumped anyone on the field. We will have to reflect on the mistakes we make, but evidently at the moment we are getting the rough end of the decisions.”
Marius Stankevicius was red carded just before half-time in their 2-0 defeat at Cagliari.
“It is also true that the penalties against us always seem to be awarded, whereas that's not the case for those in our favour.
“We're not talking about a tight offside decision here, but evident penalties that simply have to be seen and awarded.”
The Blucerchiati dropped from second place to fifth in one round, but Del Neri is keeping calm.
“We are not playing to win the Scudetto, that is for others. We must fight to have a strong season, play good football and launch the careers of young players.”
