Lazio boss Edy Reja is relieved his side got a draw against Catania on Sunday because he feels they could have quite easily lost.
The Biancocelesti went behind at home to the visitors shortly before half-time, but Hernanes equalised a couple of minutes later.
Lazio looked a little tired after the break and Catania striker Takayuki Morimoto prompted Fernando Muslera into a difficult save.
"We are an agile team," Reja said. "It's difficult to play against sides who sit back and defend like Catania.
"Our self-esteem increases after this because we could have lost.
"We could have stayed close to Milan [in the title race]. Let's put it this way: two games in a row have been difficult to win at home, so we'll try and beat Inter on Friday."
