Palermo will target Stefano Sorrentino if Salvatore Sirigu leaves for Genoa this summer, report TMW.
Italian international Sirigu is liked by the port club as they look for an Eduardo replacement after his move to Benfica.
With previous top target Emiliano Viviano of Inter out for the next six months with injury, Genoa are expected to net Sirigu or Fiorentina 'keeper Sebastien Frey.
Sirigu, who earns just €250,000 a season, has clashed with the Rosanero this summer over a new improved deal.
The club have offered to double his wages, but the custodian is pushing for an €850,000 a season salary.
Genoa could thus make him and Palermo an offer they can't refuse.
Should Sirigu be sacrificed, Palermo may then make a move for Chievo goalkeeper Sorrentino, a man who worked under new boss Stefano Pioli in Verona last term.
