Catania general manager Pietro Lo Monaco insists he doesn't want to sell Maxi Lopez but would consider a bid from Juventus in January.
The 26-year-old Argentine, who was a revelation last season scoring 11 goals in 17 games, has been repeatedly linked with Juventus in recent weeks.
It's no secret that Beppe Marotta would like to bring in a striker when the transfer window opens again, as Amauri certainly isn't offering any guarantees up front.
And yet having said that Maxi has only scored twice in 12 appearances so far this season - which admittedly is two more than Amauri in Serie A - but the desire to sign him appears to be undiminished.
"Marotta is a friend and we have known each other for years," Lo Monaco told Tuttosport.
"At the moment in which a concrete offer is made, we will take it into consideration.
"But one thing is clear: there will be no discounts," he concluded.
