Parma have confirmed their interest in Amauri and Sergio Floccari, although they admit a new striker is not a priority.
The Tardini outfit have made no secret of their desire to sign Amauri after his successful six month loan from Juventus last season.
They have also confirmed an admiration for Lazio striker Floccari given his availability this summer.
"Hope is always the last to die when you dream of having a great player like Amauri," Gialloblu President Tommaso Ghirardi told the Corriere dello Sport.
"It will certainly be a difficult operation to sign him, as his wages [€4m a season] are very high for us.
"Floccari too is a very strong player and he could strengthen us, but there is no immediate need to sign a striker.
"We'll remain calm as the market is open until August 30 as our present squad is already excellent as it is."
