Lopez puts Catania above Juve

Maxi Lopez insists he is not thinking about a possible move to Juventus in January. "I only have Catania on my mind."

The Argentine hitman, who holds an Italian passport, has been associated with a switch to Turin after Christmas.

However, the former Barcelona player maintains that he is just concentrating on his current club right now.

"It is pleasing to be paired with a great side like Juventus, but I am calm and I am only thinking about helping Catania avoid relegation," he noted.

Catania are joint tenth in the standings after a 1-0 win over Bari yesterday, a victory which saw the South American dismissed.

"I'm happy with the win, but saddened by my red card," added the 2009 January signing.

"We struggled a bit in the first half. However, in the second we played with intensity and deserved to win the match."
