Milan look to Napoli's Hamsik

Milan are reportedly pushing to bring in Napoli star Marek Hamsik to reconstruct their post-Andrea Pirlo midfield.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, repeated requests for negotiations have been turned down by Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Rossoneri transfer guru Adriano Galliani is waiting for Hamsik to send a sign that he would like to move on, thus opening the door for serious talks.

It's believed Hamsik is top of the wish-list for Massimiliano Allegri's midfield reinforcements.

As this could well be very difficult, Milan have another option in the works with Udinese's Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah.

He wouldn't be a simple transfer either, as the Friulani have slapped a €20m price-tag on the player – double Milan's current offer.
