Juventus have started negotiations for Andrea Pirlo and Riccardo Montolivo, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta told Sky Italia on Tuesday that he plans to add two or three players of quality to the squad.
Pirlo is among Juventus' top priorities and the fact his contract is due to expire in June makes the prospect of a free transfer a tempting opportunity.
As for Fiorentina, well, Riccardo Montolivo's agent told reporters on Tuesday that he is willing to listen to offers.
Montolivo has stalled on signing a new contract at the Artemio Franchi and looks likely to leave Florence in the summer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Juventus plan to offer cash plus Manuel Giandonato in exchange.
