Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is being coy about his club's reported interest in signing Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler.
The Switzerland international scored a belter on Sunday night in a 2-1 victory that all but ended Napoli's hopes of winning the Scudetto this season.
Inler's goal wasn't just conspicuous by its quality, but by the absence of a celebration too, which indicated that he has could already know of a move to Napoli.
Asked about Inler this morning, De Laurentiis said: "I liked him a lot yesterday evening."
Reflecting on the title race, he added: "The enthusiasm never ends in Naples. We are Neapolitans and this gives me a lift.
"I am very proud of it," De Laurentiis concluded.
