Lazio have launched a bid for Allianza Lima striker Andre Carrillo, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Edy Reja is keen to increase his options up front ahead of next season.

Lazio have made an offer worth €2.1m and are waiting to see if Allianza accept.

Dutch club Groningen are also monitoring the player's progress with a view to a bid.

Interviewed on Friday, Carrillo's agent said: "If Lazio's offer isn't accepted, we'll work on other proposals.

"Lazio have priority, but Carrillo is open to offers from other teams."
