Moratti worried by tiredness

Inter President Massimo Moratti is worried by the tiredness his players have shown against Milan and Schalke.

Last year's treble winners have suffered two humiliating defeats in the space of three days and appear out of contention for the Scudetto and the Champions League.

Moratti held talks with Leonardo until 12:40am last night to discuss matters.

"It was a chat with a serious person," Moratti said. "Of course I didn't find Leo high on morale. He is not used to these situation.

"My consideration of him doesn't change. I don't know if it changes for him…

"I am still surprised by the scale of the defeat, but certain signals of tiredness were seen already on Saturday.

"In fact, further to the goals, the thing that worried me the most was really the tiredness. In three days we have put everything in jeopardy.

"In football you always have to start again even from the most difficult situations," he concluded.
