Atalanta have confirmed that Stefano Colantuono will still be in charge of the side next season if they are promoted to Serie A.
The Nerazzurri have been associated with bosses such as Delio Rossi of Palermo and Juventus' Gigi Del Neri in recent weeks.
However, the Serie B outfit have today maintained that Colantuono will be kept on should they be playing top-flight football next term.
"If Atalanta are promoted to Serie A then we will be very happy to respect the contract we have with Colantuono for next season," stated official Luca Percassi.
"Our Coach has done well in this campaign, especially in getting the true value out of many of our players."
Atalanta are top of the Second Division, four points clear of Siena who play Frosinone in the Monday night match.
