Roma will reportedly make an attempt to sign Stefano Sorrentino from Chievo at the end of the current campaign.
There is some uncertainty over the goalkeeping position in the capital given the use of both Julio Sergio and Alexander Doni this term under bosses Claudio Ranieri and Vincenzo Montella.
That has led many to believe that the capital giants are looking for a new custodian and Sorrentino could be that man.
Although he's currently in talks with Chievo regarding a contract extension on his present deal which runs until 2013, he could be sold.
The former AEK Athens net-minder is valued at around €6m and was targeted by Juventus last summer before they signed Marco Storari.
Roma have also been linked with Genoa 'keeper Marco Amelia who is currently on loan at Serie A giants Milan.
